Because of the extra force expelled the BBs will over travel slower than from a NBB (non-blow back), however, GBBs are more fun to use. Gas gun: Airsoft gun powered by gas. While gas handguns are the most popular submachine guns and assault rifles also exist. Mag: a.k.a magazine. This is what hold the BBs in an airsoft gun. It is often incorrectly referred to as a clip.
